Dress Code Reminders

Electronics Policy Reminders:

At FCS, we want to maintain a community of active engagement and minimize distractions. To achieve this, we ask that students do not bring electronics to school (including smart watches, air pods, cell phones, laptops, etc.).
  • Personal devices can be difficult to monitor in a school setting, and we believe in fostering a community without those distractions.
  • 6th-12th grade students will use Google Classroom for schoolwork. No personal devices are needed for this purpose.
  • The school phone is available for emergent phone calls at the Front Desk, and staff phones are also available for emergencies.
Students may bring cellphones but must store them in their “phone homes” upon entering school. This ensures phones aren’t used during inappropriate times.
If you have questions about the electronics policy, please contact us.

Thinkwave/Grading System & Tadpoles:

Thinkwave is our online grading, attendance, and communication platform for students in K-12th grade. For Pre-K families, we use Tadpoles.
  • New families will receive an invite to Thinkwave by the end of August.
  • Returning families do not need to re-register for Thinkwave; they simply need to select the correct school year after logging in.
6th-12th grade students will need a Gmail account for Google Classroom.

FCS Athletics/Sports:

The FCS Lady Eagles volleyball team has already started practice, and we are excited for the upcoming season! The final game schedule will be posted by September 4.
